The Inspire filter adapter is mounted into the Inspire face mask instead of the breathing valve. It provides a threaded filter connection (Rd40) to connect a filter to the mask. An integrated exhalation valve adjusts the exhalation resistance to the correct level for using the mask in filter mode (normal pressure).
